There are many projects under way that the Murrysville Economic and Community Development have assisted with. Our vision is to bring progress to Murrysville’s Business District. 
The Business Overlay with the Planning Commission has been approved by the Murrysville Council.  Dunkin' Donuts new prototype building is completed with enhanced drive through service area. Manor Development Group II is going through the approval phase for their site on the development of an upscale retail and restaurant complex named "Market Place at Twenty-Two" Murray Plaza redevelopment is complete with one space available. This is one of the many projects underway that will enhance and complement the ongoing 'Streetscape Project' in Murrysville. Street repaving on Old William Penn Highway is finished and the "Streetscape Phase I" portion was completed November 2009. Walgreen's is undergoing its final stages of construction. Gatto-Foster Development Property sale (McDonald's intersection).
